His main curatorial work is focused on memory, urban dynamics and territorial transformations in the city, the manipulation of media residues, national iconography, images in the Congolese postcolonial context. He was the artistic director of the 4th and 5th Biennale de Lubumbashi, Rencontres Picha in 2015-2017. His curatorial work includes the exhibitions: &#8220;Ligablo&#8221; at the Royal Library of Belgium (2010-11), &#8220;Transferts&#8221; at the BOZAR Centre for Fine Arts, Brussels (2003), &#8220;Africa screams&#8221; at De Markten, Brussels (2003), &#8220;Table Manners&#8221; at Kapelle van Groeningen, Kortrijk (2003), &#8220;D\u00e9marcations&#8221; at the Centre Wallonia Brussels in Paris (2005), &#8220;Exitcongomuseum&#8221; at the Royal Museum for Central Africa in Tervuren (2000-2001).<\/p>\n<p>He was the artistic director of the platform DesignfabKinshasa to the Acad\u00e9mie des Beaux-Arts de Kinshasa, 2014-2015. As an artist, Toma Muteba Luntumbue has been the subject of one-person exhibitions at Cit\u00e9 Miroir in Li\u00e8ge 2017, Belgium, in La Chaufferie in Strasbourg, France, at Aquarium in Valenciennes, France and at the Extraspazio gallery in Rome. He has participated in international group exhibitions in prestigious arts venues such as S.M.A.K.
