Drawing images from a multitude of digital sources, his approach to video and filmmaking is investigated through performance and installation. He has shown works at Dazibao (Montr\u00e9al, 2018), Plug In Institute of Contemporary Art (Winnipeg, 2016) and Centre DA\u00cfM\u00d4N (Gatineau, 2016) and has collaborated on several other film and video installation projects as a cinematographer.<\/p>\n<p>Circlings is a video installation based on a series of shots of roundabouts captured in Lisbon, using the Hangar centre as a starting point and going farther from there. Taken from a moving car, the shots will be filmed with the camera pointing towards the inside of the turn, framing the center of the roundabout, giving the effect of circular motion. The sound will be captured from multiple sources inside the car &#8211; the people in the car as well as the ambient sounds. The aim is to capture a series of visually similar shots, which, when edited together, will form an ever-shifting film with variations in sound, topography and time of day.
