Her abstract sculptures, drawings, videos and installations are informed by scientific, poetic and contemporary philosophy, nearly always referencing loss or absence; aiming towards more non-human-centric and ecological concerns.<br \/>\nShe was recently awarded the Arts Grant by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, creating a project addressing important issues of our era such as pollution, deforestation and climate change. Rodrigues was awarded, by ACAVA, the Doremi\/Grizedele Arts residency, creating a sound work in a quarry and gave a talk named \u201cUse of the Voice in Natural Environments\u201d. She received her BA in Fine Art Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Lisbon, and an MA in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Arts in 2015, receiving the Clifford Chance | UAL sculpture award. She recently exhibited work in Portugal in the show \u201cEnsaio sobre a terra\u201d with an accompanying essay written by the Portuguese philosopher and artist Tom\u00e1s Maia. Rodrigues was invited by the Fine Art director at Chelsea College of Arts to present her work under the title \u201cArtists ad Community\/Community of Artists\u201d. Her work has been exhibited in solo and group shows across the UK, China, and Portugal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Polliana Dalla Barba<\/strong> (1988, Vit\u00f3ria, Brazil) and graduated in Fine Arts from the Federal University of Esp\u00edrito Santo (BR). Currently, she lives and works in Porto &#8211; PT, where she is a student of the master&#8217;s degree in Fine Arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts (UP). Her work involves the universe of travel, displacements and landscape. Using media such as drawing, collage, texts, video, photography and installation to create traffic narratives. She has held several collective and solo exhibitions in Brazil, artistic residencies in Latin America and more recently she was awarded at the contest for new artists of the Biennial Foundation of Cerveira, Portugal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Yuri Firmeza<\/strong> (1982, S\u00e3o Paulo) is prof. of the Cinema and Audiovisual course of the Federal University of Cear\u00e1. He has a PhD in Fine Arts at the University of Lisbon and Master in Visual Poetry at the School of Communication and Arts at the University of S\u00e3o Paulo &#8211; funded by a FAPESP research grant. Participated in film festivals and exhibitions in several cities in Brazil and abroad, among them: 11th Mercosul Biennial, Porto Alegre\/RS; 64th and 62nd International Short Film Festival Oberhausen\/Germany; 31st Bienal de S\u00e3o Paulo\/SP; Turva\u00e7\u00f5es Estratigr\u00e1ficas, Museum of Art of Rio\/RJ, Through the surface of the pages, Boston\/USA; Amor e \u00d3dio \u00e0 Lygia Clark, Zacheta National Gallery of Art, Warsaw\/Poland; Vida da Minha Vida, CCBNB, Fortaleza\/CE.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lu\u00edsa Santos<\/strong> (1980, Lisbon) trained as a communication designer (5 year degree at Faculty Fine Arts Lisbon, 1998-2003) and worked as a designer in advertising and design studios between 2003 and 2006, in Portugal and Italy. In 2006, Lu\u00edsa Santos moved to London, where she graduated with a Masters in Curating Contemporary Art at the Royal College of Art, with the support of the Gulbenkian Foundation (2006-2008). She has been working as an independent curator since 2008, having lived in England, Austria, Denmark, Germany and Belgium. In 2015, she was awarded her PhD on \u2018multidisciplinary approaches in art for social change\u2019, in the frame of the CCCPM programme (SEgroup and Humboldt- Viadrina School of Governance, Berlin), which she has published with Routledge in 2018 under the title Multidisciplinarity: Projects for Social Change in Art and Culture. In 2016, she was awarded a Gulbenkian Professorship and appointed Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Human Sciences of Universidade Cat\u00f3lica Portuguesa, in Lisbon, where she is currently coordinating 4Cs: from Conflict to Conviviality through Creativity and Culture, a project co-funded by the European Commission through Creative Europe.
