Artists and researchers working in any medium who are concerned with history, politics, and society are invited to apply. We welcome in-depth proposals concerned with contemporary localities and realities in mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and the greater Chinese diaspora worldwide.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u5317\u4eac\u4e2d\u95f4\u7f8e\u672f\u9986\u4e0e\u4e2d\u56fd\u827a\u672f\u4ea4\u6d41\uff08China Residencies\uff09\u9762\u5411\u5168\u7403\u516c\u5f00\u62db\u52df\u827a\u672f\u5bb6\u548c\u7814\u7a76\u8005\uff0c\u7533\u8bf7\u4e24\u673a\u6784\u5408\u4f5c\u4e3b\u529e\u7684\u5168\u989d\u8d44\u52a9\u51ac\u5b63\u9a7b\u7559\u9879\u76ee\u3002\u6211\u4eec\u6b22\u8fce\u4efb\u4f55\u9886\u57df\u7684\u827a\u672f\u5bb6\u548c\u7814\u7a76\u8005\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u6b22\u8fce\u4efb\u4f55\u5bf9\u4e8e\u5f53\u4e0b\u5386\u53f2\u3001\u653f\u6cbb\u548c\u793e\u4f1a\u8fdb\u884c\u6df1\u5165\u601d\u8003\u7684\u5b9e\u8df5\u8005\uff0c\u5c24\u5176\u662f\u5bf9\u4e2d\u56fd\u5927\u9646\u3001\u9999\u6e2f\u3001\u53f0\u6e7e\u548c\u5927\u4e2d\u534e\u5730\u533a\u7684\u672c\u571f\u6027\u4e0e\u73b0\u5b9e\u6027\u6709\u6df1\u5165\u7814\u7a76\u7684\u5b9e\u8df5\u8005\u5728\u8fd9\u4e2a\u51ac\u5929\u6765\u4e2d\u95f4\u7f8e\u672f\u9986\u8fdb\u884c\u827a\u672f\u9a7b\u5730\uff0c\u9a7b\u7559\u65f6\u95f4\u4e3a\u4e09\u4e2a\u6708\uff08\u6216\u66f4\u77ed\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u9f13\u52b1\u4e3a\u671f\u4e09\u4e2a\u6708\u7684\u9a7b\u7559\u7533\u8bf7\uff09\u3002<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Applicants are welcome to draw on art in the socio-political and historical context of the Greater China region, and are encouraged to propose research topics based on their own intellectual and artistic approaches. We are particularly interested in proposals that look into specific periods of time in China\u2019s contemporary art history, including subcurrents in art that are relevant to critical issues in today&#8217;s societies and policies, as well as all cultural and artistic topics that remain undiscussed or underdiscussed.<\/p>\n<p>\u6211\u4eec\u671f\u5f85\u7533\u8bf7\u8005\u5728\u5927\u4e2d\u534e\u5730\u533a\u7684\u793e\u4f1a\u653f\u6cbb\u548c\u5386\u53f2\u80cc\u666f\u4e0b\u5207\u5165\u827a\u672f\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u548c\u5b9e\u8df5\uff0c\u5e76\u9f13\u52b1\u5927\u5bb6\u57fa\u4e8e\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u77e5\u8bc6\u80cc\u666f\u548c\u827a\u672f\u5b9e\u8df5\u63d0\u51fa\u5207\u8eab\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u8bfe\u9898\u3002\u6211\u4eec\u5c06\u4f18\u5148\u8003\u8651\uff1a\u5bf9\u4e8e\u4e2d\u56fd\uff08\u5f53\u4ee3\uff09\u827a\u672f\u53f2\u7279\u5b9a\u65f6\u671f\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u4e0e\u5b9e\u8df5\uff1b\u5bf9\u5173\u8054\u4e8e\u5f53\u4eca\u793e\u4f1a\u653f\u6cbb\u4e2d\u5173\u952e\u95ee\u9898\u7684\u827a\u672f\u6f5c\u6d41\u7684\u8003\u5bdf\u4e0e\u63a2\u7d22\uff1b\u4ee5\u53ca\u6d89\u53ca\u4ecd\u7136\u672a\u88ab\u53d1\u73b0\u6216\u8ba8\u8bba\u7684\u6587\u5316\u827a\u672f\u4e3b\u9898\u7684\u63d0\u6848\u3002<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The selected projects are expected to\u00a0begin in December 2018\u00a0and to\u00a0complete by the end of February 2019. Dates are flexible, applicants will need to provide\u00a0tentative timelines\u00a0for their proposed project. Apply online before September 5th 2018. This is a wide open call, with no restrictions based on age, gender identity, medium, educational background, or any other criteria.
