Min Ja Hyun

A native of Jeju, an island filled with stones and sands from intense volcanic activity, Minja Hyun likes to work with small pieces of stones and sands with which she aims to represent the nature of the present time as the history of the earth. The material used in her work is not only collected on her native island, but also in the American deserts of Arizona and Utah. With this she wants to propagate the idea that the world is one and that we all share the same root. She has exhibited in major cities in Korea and also in New York.
