A multidisciplinary artist, Karole Biron live in Quebec City, Canada. She’s interested in the dynamics between the body, its movement, its relationship to space and the states of consciousness that result from it. His research is carried out, among other things, through installation, sculpture, photography and the use of light and sound.
His productions have been seen during exhibitions in Quebec and abroad (Bulgaria, Mexico, Brazil, France, Belgium) and during artist residencies (Banff, Belgium, Greece and Spain). She has given conferences and workshops in Quebec, Norway and Portugal and has participated in numerous juries and workshop critiques in both arts and architecture. She also has to her credit more than a dozen works of public art integrated into architecture and the environment.
Her artistic work is influenced at different levels by her scientific expertise in pathology. Furthermore, she was publication director of the book Segments and Specimens, reflections on photography and medicine, published by Éditions J’ai VU.
Karole Biron have studied in Visual Arts Architecture.
