In 2021 she was granted a four year Mondriaan Fund for Established Artists to further expand her work, research and artistic practices after having received Mondriaan Fund Emerging Talent a year prior. An alumnus of the Willem de Kooning Academy (Rotterdam, NL) with a BA in Photography and a minor in Critical Studies, she additionally studied Colour Correction for Film at the School of Visual Arts in New York. In 2020, she directed her first film titled \u2018Pivot\u2019; a film about Black performances in white spaces, which went on to be exhibited + screened across multiple institutes &amp; festivals across Europe &amp; US &#8211; and was selected by DWELLER, amongst 12 other films, to see its release on the Criterion Channel in 2024.
