Hoje, apesar do conhecimento do perigo das monoculturas, e que a diversidade humana e a biodiversidade est\u00e3o ligadas, as institui\u00e7\u00f5es art\u00edsticas e culturais ocidentais continuam a mimetizar o legado colonial das monoculturas nas suas pr\u00e1ticas, que n\u00e3o s\u00e3o representativas da diversidade humana e, nas suas culturas de extra\u00e7\u00e3o, prejudicam o meio ambiente.
