[vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”5px”][vc_separator color=”black”][vc_column_text]Susana Anagua<\/strong> (1976) lives and works in Lisbon and Rio de Janeiro. Holding a PhD in Contemporary Artistic Processes from UERJ-Rio de Janeiro, she finished her MA in Digital Arts in London Arts University (Camberwell College of Arts). She also holds a Bachelor degree in Fine Arts from Escola Superior de Artes e Design (ESAD) in Caldas da Rainha, where she also teaches since 2009.<\/p>\n

Her solo exhibitions which stand out are \u201cOlhar Radar\u201d (2012, Rio de Janeiro) or \u201cDesnorte\/ Northless\u201d in the project room of the Center of Modern Art of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation (2008, Lisbon). Also, she did installations and public interventions like \u201cCarris Arte em Movimento\u201d an installation project in the Gl\u00f3ria Elevator in Lisbon 2019, and the project held as part of the commemoration of the election of the \u201c7 Wonders of Portugal\u201d, Batalha Monastery, in 2008<\/p>\n

From the artistic residencies and biennials the most important are \u201cInvisible Trips\u201d (2013) with the support of DGARTES for the Biennial of S\u00e3o Tom\u00e9 and Pr\u00edncipe, the artistic coordination of the international residency \u201cOFFLINE\u201d, at LARGO residences in Lisbon and participation in \u201cTransient\u201d \u2013 \u201cBetween albums and archives\u201d \u2013 \u201cXerem and Triangle Networks\u201d \u2013 in 2012 \u2013 \u201cLargo Residences\u201d \u2013 Lisbon.
\nCollective exhibitions include \u201cLinkFest\u201d, Ireland, \u201cArround A Volta\u201d, Marseille, in 2005, \u201cSeven artists to the tenth month\u201d, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Lisbon; \u201cE=mc2\u201d, National Museum of Science and Technology, Coimbra; \u201cAntecipArte 2005\u201d, Greenhouse Cold, Lisbon; in 2004 \u201cCity Desk Award\u201d, Centro Cultural de Cascais, Cascais; in 2005 \u201cPerpetual Movements, Art for Carlos Paredes\u201d,
