In the theatre, he has signed several pieces between Lisbon and London. He is currently a collaborator with The Griot theatre company where he has worked since 2013 making music and\/or sound design pieces and recently acting.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">As a sound designer he collaborated with VHILS in his solo exhibitions: Haze \u2013 Cincinnati 2020, Incision &#8211; Curutiba 2019, Fragments Urbains \u2013 Paris 2018, Debris \u2013 Macau 2017, Debris \u2013 Hong Kong 2016, Dissection \u2013 Lisbon 2014; and Monica de Miranda in P\u00f3s-Arquivo, Lisbon, 2020, South Circular \u2013 MAAT Lisbon, 2019, D\u00f3 \u2013 Luanda 2018, Beauty \u2013 Carlos Carvalho Gallery 2018.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Xullaji is also co-founder of the Peles Negras Mascaras Negras (\u201cBlack Skins Black Masks\u201d) \u2013 theatre for blackness. This began as a forum theatre group, and today with theatre, music, literacy and other tools, maintains a practice of horizontal discussion with the Cape Verdean and Guin\u00e9 Bissau community through art.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Musically, he\u2019s currently focused on the project pr\u00e9tu.
