Clara Benfatti (Paris, 1984) lives and works in São Paulo, Brazil. BA in Visual Arts from Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado (FAAP), São Paulo, in 2010. Benfatti works mostly with drawings. Her work focuses on large cities, its architecture and buildings, and a person´s relation to them. Build up routes within a city, panoramic views as well as the intimacy of the domestic environments are part of her interests. Her first solo Other Cities took part at Galeria Zipper, São Paulo, in 2010. Among her group shows are: Im]balances and [Im]perfections, Galeria Coleção de Arte, Rio de Janeiro, 2011; Say, Make, São Paulo, 2014; Imaginary Structures, Museum of Contemporary Art in Campo Grande, Brazil, 2014.
